Here’s news of some of what’s happening in and around our branch area over the next few weeks.
Our September monthly meeting will be at the Hare & Hounds, Harlton from 8pm on Tuesday 10 September. Our monthly meetings, on the second Tuesday of the month, are open to all branch members. Feel free to attend, hear what’s going on and have a chat over a beer or two. October’s meeting will be at the Bell Inn, Bottisham.
The latest edition of our ALE magazine went out recently. Look out for it in your local, or read it online. It has a picture of the Champion of the Thames on the cover.
Good Beer Guide.
The 2020 edition of the Good Beer Guide is released on 12September.
Branch Minibus Tour.
Cambridge & District CAMRA minibus mystery tour. 7 September. The main minibus pickup point will be on Station Road at 11 with a secondary one at the Golden Hind. We will drop off at these places after the tour at around 7. Due to limited capacity, this event is restricted to CAMRA members. To book your seat email our social secretary, Clive.
Cambridge Cider Strolling Social. 14 September.
Our branch Cider Officer, Jerry, will be leading us on a tour of some of the best pubs to drink real cider & perry in Cambridge. We’ll start at noon at the Carlton Arms, Carlton Way and anticipate finishing at around 7 at the Cambridge Blue, Gwydir Street. For more information, check out our website or email Jerry.
