Beer festivals

The first CAMRA beer festival was held here in Cambridge in 1974 and the Cambridge Beer Festival has gone on to become one of the largest and most successful festivals in the country. The 2017 summer festival was the busiest so far, with over 44,000 people enjoying the sunshine, 115,000 pints of beer, cider and perry,  over 2000 bottles of wine and mead, and 800 kg of cheese.

CAMRA beer festivals are now held all over the country, with many here in the East Anglia region.  There is a handy list of local festivals on the CAMRA East Anglia website.

All the festivals rely on volunteers so if you can help it would be greatly appreciated.
