The Rad : open at last

The inside of the Rad

At long last The Rad – previously known as the St Radegund – has opened.

After more than four years of renovation, the pub opened on Thursday 7 March. What started out as a simple refurbishment turned into a more fundamental job, as a succession of serious structural problems were discovered and fixed.

The pub has 25 taps. 20 of these are dedicated to interesting keg beers from small producers. The remaining taps have cask beer and ciders. The intention is to represent local producers in the line up.

We’ll be visiting on Thursday 14 March for our Thursday Throng.
