Cambridge Beer Quarter 2024

The Blue Moon, Alexandra Arms, Geldart, Calverley’s Brewery Taproom, Petersfield, Kingston Arms and Cambridge Blue will be running a coordinated festival in late June. Raising money for local charities.

In the garden of the Geldart there will be pop-up bars for Moonshine Brewery and Simon’s Cider from Tuesday to Sunday. Earlier opening from 3pm Tuesday to Friday.

Calverley’s Brewery Taproom will be offering guest beers as well as their own beers for the Cambridge Beer Quarter from Tuesday. They will also have a “Meet the Ciderist” event with Tony Hobbs from Cromwell Cider on Tuesday evening.

The Cambridge Blue will have a beer festival in the marquee all week. They’ll also have a Charity Raffle and games. Live music Friday evening.

The Kingston Arms will have a beer pub quiz on Monday, a Cockney Night on Tuesday, live music Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday, Sam’s Thai Kitchen Wednesday & Thursday and hog roast on Saturday.

The Alexandra Arms has a beer festival all week. On Monday evening they have a “Blind Tap Tasting” with prizes. On Wednesday they have a “Meet the Brewer” event with Charlie from Buntingford Brewery. On Saturday they have chilled tunes in the garden with guest DJs.

The Blue Moon has a range of beers that they have brewed in collaboration with Baron Brewing, Wylde Sky, Three Blind Mice, Ampersand, Nene Valley, Calverley’s, Hammerton Brewery, Pastore Brewing & Blending and Duration Brewing.

The Petersfield has a beer festival. Meet the Cambridge Brew House Brewer on Monday. Spanish Supper Club on Wednesday.

This year’s Cambridge Beer Quarter chosen charities are Kite Trust, Samaritans, Cambridge Pride, Alzheimer’s Society, Arthur Rank Hospice, Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital and Something To Look Forward To.
