England’s third lockdown to suppress the spread of the Coronavirus began to be eased on Monday 12 April. Pubs can now open their gardens for table service. Groups of up to six people or two households can meet. Pubs can now offer takeaway alcoholic drinks as well as food and non-alcoholic drinks. Off-licenses can continue selling takeaways and deliveries. Breweries and cidermakers, if licensed, can also continue selling takeaways and deliveries. This is only a summary of the full rules. The next stage of easing is currently due to take place on Monday 17 May when pub interiors will reopen.
We’re trying to keep track of which pubs in our area are offering services. It’s a rapidly changing situation and without doubt some of our information is missing, outdated or just plain wrong. If you see something that needs changing please email us.
As well as pubs offering services, many of our local breweries and cider makers are also offering delivery or collection services. Below the pubs list are specialist off-licenses.
