Meet the Cambridge Beer Festival Volunteers at the Haymakers
The Cambridge Beer Festival is one of the country’s biggest festivals. But none of it would happen if it weren’t for the 400 or so volunteers who put it together, run it, and tidy it all up again afterwards. Volunteering is fun and fulfilling. Our June Strolling Social will be on Saturday 15 June and will visit Cambridgeshire pubs along the Kings Cross rail line. We’ll meet up in the Jester next to Ashwell & Morden Station at 12:25. August Strolling Social
Our August Strolling Social will visit the three pubs in Fen Ditton before walking through Ditton Meadows and Stourbridge Common to the Green Dragon. We'll then move on to the Haymakers before ending the tour at Othersyde. We'll spend 45 minutes to an hour in each venue. Food is available from all venues with the exception of the Kings Head. September Minibus Tour
On 7th September we'll have our next mystery minibus tour of some of our rural pubs. We pick up near the train station at 11 and may have a second pick up at the Golden Hind. The tour ends at 7-7:30pm. We don't charge for the transport but we do expect participants to enter the raffle that contributes towards our costs. Coach Trip to Breweries in the Bungay area
On Saturday 14 December, instead of a Strolling Social, we’ll be having a coach trip to some of the breweries in the Bungay area. It will include at least 3 of these.
