The festival itself was held for the third year at the University Sports and Social Club in Mill Lane, which is proving to be an excellent venue. This year we soft-pedalled on the publicity in the hope of reducing the huge queues in the evening but failed miserably! - so our apologies if you were unable to get in. Despite a re-order, the beer was very nearly sold out by closing time. Many thanks to all who helped at the festival, particularly with the unglamorous tasks of putting it up and taking it down again, and particular congratulations to Dave Collins who was organising the festival for the first time. Thanks also to the Club themselves for being such accommodating and helpful hosts.
