Back in February when Cambridge CAMRA met to select its entries for the
2007 Good Beer Guide,
only seven pubs achieved the maximum 100% score
- everyone who had visited agreed that these pubs should go in. One of
them, as per usual, was the
St Radegund in
King Street Cambridge.
A survey form was duly completed for despatch to our HQ in St Albans, along
with those for the other entries. Something - and we know not what - then
went horribly wrong and the upshot is that the Radegund doesn't appear in
the published version of the Guide despite being selected.
We are of course extremely sorry about this and apologise profusely to
landlord Terry who, understandably, was mystified by the omission. Please be
assured that "Bunter's Ale" is as good as ever and that the Radegund remains
one of the very best cask beer outlets in the area.
