St George's Day

Once again Charles Wells are leading the way heareabouts, campaigning for
more recognition for England's day and helping to redress the balance
against Guinness' promotion of St Patrick's Day.
Last year they handed out free label badges and even free pints.
Apart from Charles Wells's pubs,
the only Branch area pubs we've heard of which are celebrating the day are
the Cambridge Blue, Gwydir Street,
and the Live & Let Live, Mawson Road, but there are probably a few more
who've yet to make their plans known!
