Lawnmower Man
One evening recently, in a backstreet Cambridge pub, in walked
a man pushing a Qualcast-type lawnmower.
He had his bag of washing draped from the handles (as one does).
He asked for a drink (in an Irish accent as it happens, though that's not relevant)
but was refused service "as we don't serve lawnmowers". Off they trundled.
The following lunch-time he came in alone, seeking his missing washing.
Apparently his mower got him home that night but the washing had other ideas.
