Election Day Warning
Beware of the widespread East Anglian superstition that it is extremely unlucky
to write down the letter X on May Day. If you do, it is said, your ewes will be
barren, your potato crop will be blighted and your car will fail its MOT.
Which party will protect the interests of the brewing industry best? The
Conservatives have consistently neglected to deal with the threat of cheap
foreign imports. Labour wants to further European involvement! What we need is a
referendum on how best to limit European influence.
