Generally these Web pages use graphics (icons, pictures, etc.) freely. However from May 2005 we are implementing the following for all new pages and adapting older pages as time & opportunity permit.

Normally a Web page will display with graphics. However if your browser is recognised as a handheld one or an audio or braille reader, then a version of a page with minimal graphics should be selected automatically.

Also up-to-date Web browsers such as Firefox and Opera (but sadly not Internet Explorer v6 or earlier) offer you the choice of "Minimal graphics". To select that, choose

or something very similar to that - browsers vary.
