Cambridge & District CAMRA
Branch Good Beer Guide 2006 Nominations
CAMRA members are encouraged to nominate pubs they feel worthy of inclusion.
The chief criterion is consistent beer quality, though other factors such as
not using cask breather or misleading dispense are also important.
Timetable
- 23-Nov: deadline for nominations.
- Nov-Jan: members visit the nominated pubs to decide if they rate a GBG entry.
- 10-Jan: Branch meeting to vote on which pubs to include.
Our rule is that you can only vote for a pub if you've visited it in the last 6 months.
- 11-Jan: Committee meeting finalises the list based on the
Branch's quota of entries and organises the formal surveying of pubs by activists.
- Jan-Feb: activists survey the chosen pubs.
- 7-Mar: deadline for survey forms to be with the CAMRA Area Organiser or Regional Director.
