Developer Pace Investments (of Kensington) wants to replace the existing buildings with 195 flats, plus offices, shops and an underground car park.

Staff and regulars at the Flying Pig are campaigning against the plan - there's a petition - and the Cambridge branch of CAMRA supports them. It's a thriving pub, attracting a wide mix of people. The pub goes back at least 130 years.
