How to Get There

The County Council Web site has a lot of information: Travel to Shire Hall.

Maps

Also: Multimap - Streetmap (with approximate locations highlighted)

Directions once in the general vicinity

Go to the Sir Isaac Newton pub at the top of Castle Hill.
That's about one third of the way between the Mount Pleasant/Victoria Road junction and the Northampton Street/Chesterton Road/Magdalene Street junction.
It's about 200 yards from the entrance to Shire Hall Car Park.
Alongside the pub there's a road leading off into the Castle Park site.
Go along the full length of that road - approx. 200-300 yards.
The Shire Hall Club is at the far end.

Public transport

The Links page has public transport info and maps.

The Citi 1 bus serves Castle Hill from the railway station and a number of other key locations - the Council pages (above) have the details.
