County Pub of the Year 2004
The Coalheaver's Arms, Peterborough
Each branch which nominates a Pub of the Year
usually participates in this annual competition
and judges the Pubs of the Year of the other branches in the county.

The winner was The Coalheaver's Arms, the first of the pubs
owned by the small pubco associated with Milton Brerwery.
(The other two so far are in North London.)
The next stage is the Regional Pub of the Year, with a similar voting process.
Each pub is visited by branch activists and scored on the following factors:
- Quality of beer/cider/perry
- Atmosphere/style/decor
- Service/welcome
- Clientele mix
- Sympathy with CAMRA aims
- Good value
