National Cask Beer Week 2004

Cask Beer Week is organised by the Independent Family Brewers of Britain (IFBB), the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) and the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA).

It aims to promote cask conditioned beer and bring it to a wider audience. Essentially, Cask Beer Week celebrates British beers and British industry.

Cask Beer Week is now in its fourth year and has grown from being an IFBB event into a much wider industry occasion with freehouses and pub companies taking part, along with brewers such as Coors also lending their support.

The event now has a number of aims associated with it. During Cask Beer Week the participants make a concerted effort to promote cask beer, aiming to encourage consumers to try a glass of it for themselves.
